Shane McMahon seen with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis

Shane McMahon doesn’t tweet much but he’s been more active on social media today than he’s been in many months.

Shane tweeted earlier today that he hung out with Florida Panthers owner and CEO/Vice Chairman of Virtu Financial Doug Cifu.

In a follow-up tweet on Friday afternoon, Shane said he was also hanging out with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis at the PGA Honda Classic. It’s unclear if this was related to WWE but DeSantis has helped out WWE in the past. During the early months of the pandemic, DeSantis declared that WWE is an “essential business” and therefore would be able to run events at the Performance Center.

Shane has not said anything about being sent home by his father last month. He was supposed to be part of the WrestleMania plans but that was scrapped and reportedly he rubbed a lot of people the wrong way backstage at the Royal Rumble.
