As reported previously, it’s all hands on deck for WrestleMania 30. Here is an update on the story about WWE contacting big names to be a part of Sunday’s WrestleMania 30 show.
The company has contacted Dwayne Johnson, Ric Flair, Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, Jim Ross, and others for the weekend. Dave Meltzer is saying that he’s getting the impression that The Rock will be on the show in some form. No word if it will be a live or taped cameo. The company does want all the major names there live. Austin is going to the WWE Hall of Fame so it looks like he will stay for WrestleMania although he initially had said that he did not want to go unless they had something for him to do. It looks like he may be doing something significant and they have pitched some ideas to him.
Shawn Michaels will already be there for the Hall of Fame ceremony and he’s doing WWE-related events for WrestleMania week.
Jim Ross was not originally going to stay after his show but now he will be staying for the whole weekend.
