We recently noted that WWE star and NXT UK Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley felt disrespected by a recent WWE social media post. WWE posted a photo of some of 2018’s champions and asked fans which was their favorite. Of course, Ripley was left off the list, but there was another notable champion missing as well.
That champion is NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler. Baszler also felt disrespected by the snub but said she doesn’t fight for anyone’s approval anyway:
#ShaynaTwoTime doesn’t fight for your approval anyway.”

It is a shame for WWE to have left Baszler off the graphic. The former UFC fighter won the NXT Women’s Title at TakeOver: New Orleans in April. She defeated Ember Moon to capture the strap. This would spark feuds with the likes of Dakota Kai and Nikki Cross. In August, Baszler lost the title to Kai at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn Four, but regained the title at the Evolution pay-per-view, becoming the first-ever two-time NXT Women’s Champion in history.
