Shayna Baszler Booked For House Of Glory Debut

Former two-time NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler is set to make her debut for New York-based independent promotion House of Glory Wrestling next month. It was announced that “The Queen of Spades” will be a part of their “Superclash” event on Saturday, November 15, which is being held at the Suffolk Credit Union Arena in Brentwood, Long Island, in collaboration with the Big Event Entertainment and Sports Expo convention.

An opponent for the submission specialist has not yet been named. The show will also feature the House of Glory debut of another recently released WWE star, Andrade. This booking is the latest in a series of independent dates for Baszler since her release from WWE in May 2025.

The 45-year-old is scheduled to make her official return to the ring this weekend, on October 5, where she will face the tough and talented Dani Luna for Prestige Wrestling in Portland, Oregon. That match will be her first since competing at a GCW Bloodsport event in April while she was still under a WWE contract, and her first official match as a free agent in nearly six months.

Despite her recent release, Baszler has remained in the WWE orbit. She made a surprise appearance at the recent NXT Homecoming special, a show that celebrated the history of the brand, where she was a record-setting champion. In a backstage segment, she was seen giving advice to some of the younger talent. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is hope within WWE that Baszler will eventually return to the company in a non-wrestling capacity, such as a coaching or production role. However, as of now, no official arrangements have been made.

Baszler has also noted that she is keeping her options open for her in-ring future. In a recent interview, she stated that she would not be against a move to AEW if the opportunity presented itself, noting her desire to simply “practice her craft” and work alongside her friends.
