Hurt Business vs. Bloodline had been a dream match due to the dominance of the two factions during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021. Hurt Business led the charge on Monday Night Raw while the other heel faction was on SmackDown.
Bobby Lashley, MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Cedric Alexander had a short run together from 2020-2022 but made a memorable impression on fans and are remembered as one of the highlights during this dark period. The Bloodline is still running strong with different members, as it was once led by Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, and The Usos at its height.
While speaking with Metro, Benjamin talked about how the group helped everyone involved and elevate themselves.
He said, “And I think the fact that there was no Hurt Business versus Bloodline war is one of the biggest mishaps in pro wrestling.”
MVP has gone on record via Instagram, noting that he tried to get the group back together before Benjamin was let go. However, Triple H was not looking to reunite the Hurt Business.
