Shinsuke Nakamura spoke with J Sports to promote the upcoming WWE events in Japan and in Singapore. At these shows, he will be challenging WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins.
In this interview, Nakamura talked about his current position in WWE. Nakamura has had a long and successful career in the pro wrestling business.
From making a name for himself under the New Japan Pro Wrestling banner to signing with WWE and showing off his talents in America with the company.
This is where Nakamura talked about how he came to WWE from NJPW for new challenges and that’s what he’s getting now.
“Since I became a professional wrestler when I was 22 years old, I was able to come here without looking back. In 2015, there was a feeling that I had done [everything] in the Japanese ring, and I still wanted to keep trying.” Nakamura shared. “As the next step, we aim to raise one step further, and take one step to the area we have not touched before. The place for the challenge was WWE. Even now, the situation changes daily, and my position is up and down everyday, and I am living with it.”
