Shinsuke Nakamura shares update after injury scare on Friday Night SmackDown

Shinsuke Nakamura shared some positive news on social media after his latest match under the WWE banner.

As seen on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown in Glendale, AZ at the Gila River Arena on FOX, Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro took on Intercontinental Champion Braun Strowman and Elias in a Symphony of Destruction match.

The finish of the match saw Strowman hit his power slam finisher to Nakamura on a piano from the announce table. Nakamura’s head hit so hard on the piano that it left a dent on the top of the surface.

After the match, fans picked up on the fact that Nakamura was bleeding from the back of his head and was checked on by medical staff.

He took to Instagram to share photos of him getting nursed with Cesaro and Sami Zayn standing by his side and looking concerned. Nakamura wrote the following in the caption of the post:

“Don’t worry. I’m a tough. But, the piano was toughest. @adamscherr99 and I couldn’t beat it.”
