Six women's matches planned for WWE WrestleMania 36

The women in WWE will be a bigger part of WrestleMania this year and more than any previous year.

Dave Meltzer noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that there are six women's matches planned for this year's show in Tampa. Two of them have already been announced - Becky Lynch vs. an opponent that will be determined at Elimination Chamber and Rhea Ripley defending the NXT Women's Championship against Charlotte Flair. It should be pretty clear to everyone that Shayna Baszler will be the one wrestling Lynch at Mania.

On SmackDown, Bayley's opponent will be determined by whatever happens at Super ShowDown next Thursday in Saudi Arabia. Click here for spoiler news on Bayley's opponent and click here for spoiler news on a potential reunion featuring former WWE stars returning for WrestleMania weekend.
