Raw ended this week in a pretty unexpected way. Things got intense as the SmackDown Live roster took Raw “under siege.”
This was a pretty great way to hype Survivor Series and who knows what kind of receipt the SmackDown Live roster will receive for this invasion?
Regardless of how Survivor Series turns out, SmackDown Live certainly fired the first shots in Green Bay and the Raw brand tasted the bitter flavor of defeat. But the SmackDown Live roster was jovial as they celebrated their accomplishment when all was said and done.
Shane McMahon got in Kurt Angle’s face and really gave off the impression he wanted to face Angle at Survivor Series in one way or another. In case you were uncertain what McMahon’s intentions are, it looks like Xavier Woods painted a pretty clear picture by including a gif from the 2001 King Of The Ring PPV when Angle and Shane-O Mac had their epic contest which left Shane cut to ribbons and Angle standing tall in victory twice that night.

Other stars from SmackDown Live weighed in on things as well by painting a clear picture of what was about to happen. Of course, The New Day decided to throw in their two cents in the same clever way they’ve become known for demonstrating. But Baron Corbin, Becky Lynch, and Mojo Rawley seemed serious as they could be that the Red Team was about to experience a war.
