Smackdown Tag Team Championship Finals are set for WWE Backlash

UPDATE: Shane McMahon announced that Chad Gable will be out 2-4 weeks with an MCL strain (the ligament on the inside of the knee). McMahon said that American Alpha has been pulled from the Smackdown Tag Team Championship Finals at Backlash and it will be The Usos vs. Hype Bros this Sunday night. The winners of that match will face Heath Slater and Rhyno in the finals.

ORIGINAL: As seen on this week’s episode of Smackdown Live, Heath Slater and Rhyno advanced to the finals of the Smackdown Tag Team Championship tournament. They defeated The Hype Bros and they will go on to face American Alpha at Sunday’s WWE Backlash pay-per-view. The story going into the match on Sunday is that American Alpha are going into the match hurt after being attacked by The Usos.
