Some ‘Old Friends’ May Be Reuniting With Xavier Woods In WWE

Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston appear to be heading towards a split, unless they are able to work things out and get on the same page. This week on WWE Raw, Woods and Kingston got into an interview after failing to win the Tag Team Titles. The New Day break-up has been teased for months.

Woods took to X to post a cryptic tweet that seems to hint at someone from his past coming in to WWE. Woods posted, “The streets saying that I may see some old friends soon. Just so yall know, I’m not a kid anymore.”

There were no other details provided by Woods but the consensus among fans on social media is that he’s talking about Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, The Motor City Machine Guns. MCMG have signed with WWE and could debut at anytime. For those of you unaware, Woods wrestled for TNA from 2007 until 2010. At TNA Sacrifice 2009, Lethal Consequences (Woods and Jay Lethal) and Eric Young defeated The Motor City Machine Guns and Sheik Abdul Bashir
