Some People In WWE Thought The Tony Hinchcliffe Spot On Raw Came Across As A Dud

During guest commentary on WWE Raw this past Monday, comedian Tony Hinchcliffe made a controversial joke about Big E’s serious neck injury. He was there to promote the upcoming “Roast of WrestleMania” during a match between The New Day and The War Raiders.

While calling the action, he stated Big E’s neck was the only thing stiffer than fellow commentator Michael Cole. The comment quickly drew criticism online from many fans, considering Big E may never wrestle again because of his serious neck injury.

The former WWE Champion addressed the joke on WWE’s Raw Recap podcast. To read his comments, click here.

Fightful Select reports that those “we spoke to backstage in WWE admitted that the Tony Hinchcliffe spot came across as a dud. They also said he was very respectful at the show.”
