Something “unexpected” planned for tonight’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw

It was reported by multiple outlets last week that tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw was already taped but that is not the case.

Tonight’s show will be live (or live to tape) and there is something “unexpected” planned for the show. This would be the first show with Bruce Prichard handling creative and Vince McMahon wants ratings back up so you can expect some unique ideas to get fans to tune in.

Regarding tonight’s show, WrestleVotes tweeted: “I really don’t want to spoil the news for everyone, so I’m not. However, I got a phone call earlier with info that RAW will feature something unexpected. Which I think everyone will like…. Sometimes scares never heal.”

As noted over the weekend, there is some concern among wrestlers about a new creative direction that could see some people moved down the card. Paul Heyman’s vision was to push younger talent while Prichard was more in favor of pushing established talent as that would be more in line with what Vince McMahon wants. The ratings are a big deal right now so you can expect something newsworthy on tonight’s show.
