WWE Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey took some shots at the MMA background of Sonya Deville. As a result, the star of the red branded show has responded to these comments.
In a recent video that published on her official website, Rousey spoke about all of the stars who will be competing in the upcoming WWE Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Women Tag Team Championships.
This is where Rousey stated, “Well I don’t know if you can really call two amateur fights an MMA background. She was never really a professional, she dabbled in it. She seems like more of a hobbyist to me.”
This led to Deville firing back at Rousey by writing the following on her official Twitter account:

WWE has already confirmed that Ruby Riott would be the next challenger for the WWE Raw Women’s Title as she’ll challenge Rousey for it at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event on February 17, 2019 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas where it will air on their streaming service, WWE Network.
