FOX Sports is bringing back WWE Backstage for one night only this week.
WWE announced the news in an article on its website to remind fans that this Friday’s episode of SmackDown will air on FS1 instead of its normal time slot on FOX due to Game 3 of the 2020 World Series.
A special one-hour Backstage episode will air from the ThunderDome on FS1 after SmackDown goes off the air.

WWE Backstage aired on the television network from November 2019 through mid-March of this year. The production of the show was stopped due to the COVID-19 pandemic and it was later announced by FOX Sports in June that the show was no longer airing.
Renee Young and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T were the original hosts. Various stars appeared on it to serve as analysts such as CM Punk, Paige, and Christian.
FOX did bring back Young for last week’s special SmackDown Kickoff Show. Thus, with her still being under contract with FOX, it’s possible that she’ll host this upcoming Backstage episode although that has yet to be confirmed.
