Special WWE WrestleMania Documentary Planned To Air On Peacock

WWE fans can look forward to a new documentary coming out on Peacock over the next few weeks.

During the latest episode of WrestleVotes Radio on SportsKeeda’s Backstage Pass Patreon, it was noted that a WrestleMania 9 documentary is planned. The film will examine the 1993 event.

“According to sources, a very interesting documentary is coming to Peacock within the next few weeks, which will see the story of WrestleMania 9 unfold as that event will be detailed in a new release titled Becoming A Spectacle. WrestleMania 9 took place at Caesar’s Palace in April of 1993, which, of course, is mainly remembered as the night Hulk Hogan walked away as WWF Champion after Yokozuna had defeated Brett “Hitman” Hart just minutes earlier. Among the superstars featured on that card that should see participation in this peacock documentary include Shawn Michaels, the Steiner brothers, Lex Luger, The Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, and Bret Hart. So TC, it’s always interesting when they decide to do documentaries on single shows, single events. They’re picking WrestleMania 9, obviously, because WrestleMania 41 is in the same place, Las Vegas, Nevada, but I think they picked WrestleMania 9 because a lot of the superstars, fortunately, are still with us. All those guys mentioned wrestled that night, and can still talk about it today.”
