Based on the latest advertised matches for WWE Extreme Rules in July, it looks like Kevin Owens’ feud with Kofi Kingston will continue after the Super ShowDown event.
As previously noted, Owens will not be going to Saudi Arabia and he was scheduled to take on Kingston but he has been replaced by Dolph Ziggler. Other Superstars not going (for different reasons) are Aleister Black, Sami Zayn and Daniel Bryan.
Here are the locally advertised matches for Extreme Rules:
WWE Championship Triple Threat Match
Kofi Kingston vs. Kevin Owens vs. Dolph Ziggler
WWE Universal Championship Tables Match
Seth Rollins vs. Baron Corbin
1-on-2 Handicap Match
Roman Reigns vs. Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre
AJ Styles vs. ???
Also advertised for the show are Becky Lynch, Randy Orton and Elias.
Of course, the card is subject to change but oftentimes, the advertised line-ups give a glimpse into WWE’s current plans for future storylines.
WWE Extreme Rules is set for Sunday, July 14 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA.
