WWE has made a change to one of the top advertised matches for December’s TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs pay-per-view.
Baron Corbin has replaced Drew McIntyre as Braun Strowman’s opponent. It’s not clear why the change was made but it could be a ripple effect after losing Roman Reigns as their top babyface. There has been talk of making McIntyre a babyface and if there are plans for him to turn soon then it wouldn’t make sense for him to face another top face (Strowman).
Here are the top three advertised matches:
– Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins vs. Deam Ambrose
– Braun Strowman vs. Baron Corbin
– Raw Women’s Champion vs. Nia Jax
The advertised card leaves out Ronda Rousey’s name for some reason and only indicates that Jax will challenge for the Raw Women’s Title. This year’s TLC pay-per-view will take place on Sunday, December 16 from San Jose, California. It is WWE’s last pay-per-view of the year and the last pay-per-view before the WrestleMania hype begins with January’s Royal Rumble.
The matches listed above are subject to change.
