It appears that a former Ring of Honor star will be working tonight’s NXT TV tapings in Winter Park, Florida at Full Sail University. Bobby Fish was seen walking into Full Sail University today with NXT producer Ryan Katz.
Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that fish will be making his first appearance in NXT and set to wrestle at the tapings.
Fish’s deal with Ring of Honor expired back in March, and since then, he has been taking bookings for independent wrestling events. Fish has already signed a contract with WWE, but it’s still unclear if the deal has been finalized. It should be noted that Fish’s reDRagon tag team partner Kyle O’Reily left ROH a few months before he did. It’s possible that O’Reily joins him in NXT in the near future as WWE has been reportedly interested in him.
