Gunner (Chad Lail) left Impact Wrestling in 2015 and he was considering retiring from the business.
Rumors of Gunner going to WWE started a few months ago. In April, there were reports that he was set to go through the standard WWE physicals and he would get hired if he passed. Last month, he teased that he had signed a deal to be a part of the NXT brand.
