SPOILER: Here is what is really going on with Dolph Ziggler

On this week’s episode of WWE Smackdown Live, new United States Champion Dolph Ziggler cut a promo and talked about how he’s been underappreciated during his time in WWE. They aired video packages of his previous Intercontinental and United States title victories. They also showed a clip of Ziggler winning Money In The Bank and then cashing in to win the World Championship a few years ago.

The announcers wondered what was going on with Ziggler and why he decided to leave his U.S. title in the ring. The idea was to leave fans wondering about Ziggler’s future without outright saying that it looked like he quit. I guess they are playing off the rumors that pop up every year about Ziggler wanting to leave the company.

Anyway, PWInsider is reporting that Ziggler will not be appearing on upcoming Smackdown episodes so it looks like he will be off TV for the foreseeable future to sell his current storyline. If they really want to make people believe that he quit then it might be a good idea to pull him off the live events. As of this writing, he is still listed on advertisements for upcoming non-televised shows.
