As of this writing, no matches have been officially announced for the WWE TLC pay-per-view. Vince McMahon made the decision not to announce any matches until the week of the show. Some matches might not be announced until the day of the show. Click here for more on why McMahon made that decision.
Although no matches have been announced, most of the card is out and reported on by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Things can change but the main event of the show looks to be “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt defending the WWE Universal Championship against Daniel Bryan in a rematch from last month’s Survivor Series. There is a chance that this match will be held off. If they choose to hold off on it then it would be Wyatt vs. The Miz. Miz and Wyatt were supposed to kick off a feud last month during a Miz TV segment but plans changed when Bray was stuck with most of the roster in Saudi Arabia.
Other matches scheduled for the show are Roman Reigns vs. Baron Corbin with a stipulation, Rusev vs. Bobby Lashley, and Women’s Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors vs. Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.
Meltzer is also reporting that The New Day are, at this point, scheduled to defend the SmackDown Tag Team Titles against Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode. That match may change.
Matches being considered but not locked in…Shinsuke Nakamura defending the Intercontinental Title against Braun Strowman, Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles, and Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens. Obviously, if they decide to hold off on some of those matches then they would likely happen at the Royal Rumble in January.
