WWE will be looking to continue the progression of LA Knight as the United States Champion on tonight’s episode of SmackDown.
A match and segment were previously announced for the show as Chelsea Green vs. Bianca Belair vs. Blair Davenport in the Women’s United States Title tournament will continue. Also, Kevin Owens and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes come face-to-face after weeks of issues.
WrestleVotes reported today that Knight is slated to defend the US Title against Santos Escobar on the show. Knight retained his title over Escobar and Carmelo Hayes in a triple threat bout at Crown Jewel.
WWE will announce more matches for the show throughout the day.
