WWE is shifting its focus to the upcoming Bad Blood PLE in Atlanta, GA, on October 5th with a big main event.
WWE is reintroducing this theme to celebrate the anniversary of the very first Hell in a Cell match, which took place on October 5, 1997. The match featured The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels and also marked Kane’s debut.
WrestleVotes reported today that the planned main event of Bad Blood will be CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell match. The match is expected to be announced on tonight’s Raw.
McIntyre went over Punk at SummerSlam in a singles match, while Punk tied things up in a strap match at Bash in Berlin. Last week on Raw, McIntyre laid out Punk to write him off the television and destroyed the bracelet.
I’m hearing that the main event for Bad Blood will be made official tonight on RAW—and as many have predicted, it’s the highly anticipated clash between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre inside Hell in a Cell.
