WWE taped an episode of NXT for next Tuesday after this week’s show from Orlando, Florida. This show continued the buildup towards the brand’s next PLE.
WWE presents the NXT No Mercy 2024 event on Sunday, September 1, 2024, in Denver, Colorado at Ball Arena and will air on Peacock. Several bouts were confirmed for the show on this week’s NXT.
The headliner will be WWE NXT Champion Ethan Page defending against Joe Hendry. The other bouts include NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez vs. Jaida Parker, WWE NXT North American Champion Oba Femi vs. Tony D’Angelo, and WWE NXT Tag Team Champions Chase U (Andre Chase & Ridge Holland) vs. Nathan Frazer & Axiom.
The new match confirmed for the upcoming PLE, revealed during Tuesday’s tapings, will see Wes Lee and TNA’s Zachary Wentz wrestle each other. They had a face-off during a segment, with security keeping them apart.
This comes after Lee turned heel and attacked his former tag team partners. It will be Wentz’s fourth match since returning to NXT as part of the TNA crossover.
