It looks like WWE will finally be deciding to bring back an absent star to television tonight on SmackDown.
The show
Things announced for tonight’s episode of SmackDown include two US Title Contenders’ tournament matches, with Grayson Waller vs. Carmelo Hayes and Kevin Owens vs. Austin Theory.
Also, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is slated to make his return. His last match was at Crown Jewel, where he won over LA Knight to retain his championship.
As previously reported, there are two NXT stars in town for tonight’s show while there is a tag team that could return on SmackDown.
The return
Pwinsider reports Styles is expected to return to television tonight on SmackDown. They were told that Styles will be back on the road with the company this weekend.
Styles hasn’t worked a match since the September 15 episode of SmackDown when he put over Finn Balor. The former WWE star was written off TV when the Bloodline attacked him. His return had been kept being delayed, including last week’s SmackDown, where he was locally advertised at one point.
