WWE continues to use QR codes on television with the intention of leading to Bo Dallas’ return to WWE television as Uncle Howdy.
Dallas was brought back to the company and paired with his brother, Bray Wyatt, following Wyatt’s return in 2022. The brothers were pulled from television due to Wyatt dealing with a medical issue in early 2024, with Wyatt later passing away in August due to a heart attack.
However, at the end of the “Bray Wyatt: Becoming Immortal” documentary, WWE planted the seeds for Howdy’s return. It showed a video that seemingly hints towards the future as a lantern pans out with a voice saying to “run.” Since then, WWE has been airing QR codes and doing other teases on television, something Wyatt did in the lead-up to his return.
As previously reported, Erick Rowan, who was part of the Wyatt Family, is also returning to the company to be part of the group.
Pwinsider reports the group is currently planned to consist of Dallas, Nikki Cross, Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacey (who was reported to be main roster-bound soon), and Rowan. It’s unclear whether some of them will be doing new personas now that they are part of the group.
