Based on the NXT tapings from last week, it looks like the company is getting ready to move Finn Balor, Jason Jordan and Chad Gable to the main roster.
After losing to Shinsuke Nakamura, Balor played things up like he was saying goodbye to the crowd at Full Sail University. I know that he’s been teasing fans on social media since February but there have been plans for months to bring him up to the main roster. One of the reasons why things were delayed with him is because they needed him to headline shows on the road for NXT but right now the brand split is a bigger priority.
Jason Jordan and Chad Gable lost to Dash and Dawson and to The Authors of Pain at the tapings. As far as Bayley’s status, it looks like she will stick around at least until NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn. She defeated Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax at the recent tapings. According to the Wrestling Observer newsletter, the decision on Bayley’s main roster call-up has been going back-and-forth all week. Based on what they did with her on the tapings, it appearas that she will face Asuka in Brooklyn next month.
Nakamura will face Samoa Joe in Brooklyn.
