WWE News
SPOILER: The planned main event for WWE Extreme Rules
It looks like Shinsuke Nakamura will get another shot at the WWE Championship in the near future.
During this week’s episode of Smackdown Live, a local advertisement in Pittsburgh revealed that AJ Styles will be defending the WWE Championship in a Triple Threat Match against Nakamura and Baron Corbin. If this match holds up then that would indicate that all three of these men will not be switching brand during the Superstar Shake-Up.
This also shows that WWE still has faith in Corbin being in the mix near the top of the card. As noted before, Vince McMahon is a fan of Corbin. Nakamura is now being pushed as the top heel of the brand. On this week’s episode of Smackdown Live, he ruined the dream match between AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan.

WWE Extreme Rules will take place on Sunday, July 15th and will air live on the WWE Network. The show will emanate from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, PA. Just like all other pay-per-views going forward, this will be a co-branded Raw and Smackdown Live show.
