WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus is in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the site of tonight’s edition of Monday Night Raw, according to a report from PWInsider.com. The report notes that Stratus is expected to appear on the broadcast to initiate a new storyline.
The purpose of her appearance is to set up a program that will culminate in a match at the upcoming Evolution 2 Premium Live Event. Stratus’s most recent run in WWE took place in 2023, where she turned heel and entered into an extended feud with Becky Lynch. That storyline, which saw Stratus align with Zoey Stark, concluded with Lynch defeating Stratus in a steel cage match at the Payback PLE last September.
Stratus’s potential return comes on a night where Raw GM Adam Pearce and SmackDown GM Nick Aldis are already scheduled to make a joint announcement about the Evolution 2 PLE. Tonight’s Monday Night Raw will air live from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh at 8 p.m. EDT on Netflix. The broadcast is also set to feature World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER delivering a message to Bill Goldberg, Rhea Ripley opening the show, and a World Tag Team Championship match between The New Day and The Judgment Day. Also announced is a tag team match pitting Sami Zayn and Penta against Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, who will be accompanied by Paul Heyman.
