It’s already been announced that The Undertaker will be returning for WWE Smackdown 1000 on 10/16. It’s expected that other major names will be returning for the show. PWInsider has confirmed that WWE Hall Of Famer Edge (Adam Copeland) has been booked to appear on the show. There’s no word what his role will be on the show. Edge was one of the major names on the brand in the early 2000’s until the end of the decade.
WWE has announced the following for Smackdown 1000 but please note that this is subject to change:
AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe for the WWE Championship
Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz
Jeff Hardy vs. Randy Orton
Smackdown 1000 will air on Tuesday, October 16 from the Capitol One Arena in Washington, DC.
