SPOILER: WWE Has Made A Change To Big New Year’s Evil Title Match

The next WWE New Year’s Evil special will take place on January 7, 2025, at Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles, California. Rather than being a standard premium live event, WWE is opting to use it as a theme for weekly NXT TV.

At NXT Deadline, Oba Femi won the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge to earn an NXT Championship match against Trick Williams. Giulia won the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge to earn an NXT Women’s Championship match against Roxanne Perez. Both bouts will take place during this special event.

On Tuesday night, WWE taped the December 24th episode of NXT. During it, an announcement was made that the NXT Championship match for New Year’s Evil had been changed to a three-way, with Trick Williams defending against both Oba Femi and Eddy Thorpe.

The reason for that is due to Williams and Thrope ending in a double-pin on this week’s show. Check out the full spoilers here.
