WWE has opted to do a match that was once considered for the Saturday Night’s Main Event special on Saturday, January 25, 2025, on tonight’s SmackDown.
WrestleVotes previously reported that WWE discussed a rematch between Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green and Michin at the event. Green went over Michin in the WWE Women’s United States Title Tournament Finals last month at the first SNME special from Uniondale, New York, at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
WrestleVotes reports WWE is planning to do Green vs. Michin on tonight’s episode of SmackDown. WWE previously announced LA Knight challenging Shinsuke Nakamura for the United States Title on SmackDown.
According to sources, Chelsea Green vs. Michin will take place tonight on #SmackDown. While there was discussion of holding their Women’s United States Championship rematch at SNME 2, we can confirm the title match is set for this evening in Portland.
