Fans can expect to see one star return from injury during tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown.
A week ago on the show, there was a segment where World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, Chad Gable, and American Made were speaking with SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis in the backstage area.
Aldis also had a chat with Carmelo Hayes with Aldis, telling him that he had booked him in a match for tonight’s show after Hayes had asked him to find him an opponent. This has led to fans speculating who it could be.
Dr. Chris Featherstone of SportsKeeda, who has broken past stories, reports Braun Strowman will be returning on the show. He’ll do so when he meets Hayes in singles competition.
Strowman has been off WWE television for months as he suffered a torn groin while working a Last Monster Standing Match against Bronson Reed on the October 1st episode of Raw. On November 15th, Strowman returned to in-ring action for a SmackDown dark match.
