Two WWE stars have a new theme song to go alongside their recent heel turn. The stars showed off the song during the latest set of SmackDown TV tapings.
The company taped next week’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown after this week’s show from Hartford, CT, at the XL Center. At the tapings, DIY came out with a new theme song.
DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) became the new WWE Tag Team Champions, dethroning The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) on the December 6th episode of Smackdown. This was after Shelley and Sabin were set to defend their titles against The Street Profits, but the scheduled challengers were taken out, and DIY took their spot.
Ciampa had shown heel tendency heading into the bout. Gargano hit a low blow to Shelley before picking up the pinfall, cementing his heel turn.
On the December 14 episode, Gargano will take on Shelley in a singles match. As seen below, DIY came out with new music that has more of a heel tone.
