WWE was in Winter Park, FL at Full Sail University on Thursday night for the NXT TV tapings. Here are the spoilers:
Spoilers for an upcoming episode of NXT Kids:
– Becky Lynch defeated Natalya.
– Big Show defeated Heath Slater. Post-match, fan favorite Izzy interviewed Show about what he likes to eat.
Spoilers for the January 13th episode:
– William Regal announced that a battle royal will take place to determine Bayley’s next challenger for the NXT Women’s Title. This leads to Sami Zayn being brought out and he cuts a promo about wanting to be NXT champion for the second time. Samoa Joe and Baron Corbin interrupt and attack Zayn. The segment ends with Zayn clearing the ring and standing tall.
– Singles Match: Tommaso Ciampa defeated Danny Burch with an arm submission.
– Non-Title Match: Dash and Dawson defeated The Ascension.
– Singles Match: Elias Samson defeated Cory Hollis.
– Carmella won a battle royal to become the new #1 contender for the Women’s Title. Participants included Eva Marie, Deonna Purrazzo, Aliyah, Cameron, Peyton Royce, Alexa Bliss, Billie Kay, Liv Morgan, Emma and Asuka. Post-match, Bayley came out to congratulate her.

– Singles Match: Sami Zayn defeated Adam Rose.
– Singles Match: Apollo Crews defeated Tye Dillinger. Post-match, Crews challenged Finn Balor to a non-title match.
– Singles Match: Baron Corbin defeated Rich Swann.
– Tag Team Match: Carmella and Bayley defeated Emma and Alexa Bliss when Carmella makes Bliss tap out for the win. Post-match, Bayley raises her Carmella’s arm.
– Singles Match: Samoa Joe defeated Johnny Gargano by submission.
Spoilers for the January 27th episode:
– Tag Team Match: Chad Gable and Jason Jordan defeated Blake and Murphy with the assisted German suplex
– Singles Match: Nia Jax squashed Liv Morgan. Eva Marie was at ringside with Nia.
– Singles Match: Alex Riley defeated Bull Dempsey.
– Singles Match: Elias Samson quickly defeated John Skyler.
– Sami Zayn vs. Samoa Joe vs. Baron Corbin in a #1 Contenders Triple Threat Match ends in controversy. The finish happens when Corbin taps while Zayn has him in a Sharpshooter and Joe has him in a cross face. Willaim Regal comes out to the ring but gives no answer on the winner.
