WWE taped tonight’s edition of NXT on Thursday, August 25th, 2016, from Winter Park, FL at the Full Sail University. Here are the spoilers for tonight’s show.
– Singles Match: Tye Dillinger defeated Buddy Murphy.
– Tomasso Ciampa cuts a backstage promo about Johnny Gargano having heart and that his leg will be alright. The Revival show up and they brawl with Ciampa. Revival beatdown Ciampa and brought him to the ring to continue the beatdown. Revival hit their finish on Ciampa.
– Singles Match: Steve Cutler defeated Kenneth Crawford.
– Singles Match: No Way Jose defeated Angelo Dawkins.
– Singles Match: Liv Morgan defeated Aliyah.
– Shinsuke Nakamura walked out to the ring and cut a promo about wanting to face the best competition in NXT. Nakamura wants to see how good he is and explained that while he has held other titles, the NXT Title means the most to him. Nakamura said that the Samoa Joe era is over and that the strong style has just begun.
