SPOILERS: Updated WWE NXT New Year’s Evil Card

Following the December 16 taping of WWE NXT at the Performance Center, the updated card for the January 6, 2026, New Year’s Evil special has begun to take shape. The event will air live on The CW Network and Netflix.

The headline bout will see Oba Femi defend the NXT Championship against TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater. Slater earned the opportunity by winning a Fatal 4-Way match on the December 16 episode, defeating Joe Hendry, Myles Borne, and Dion Lennox.

In the women’s division, Jacy Jayne is set to defend her NXT Women’s Championship against WWE EVOLVE Women’s Champion Kendal Grey. Grey secured her title shot by winning the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline.

Additionally, new NXT Women’s North American Champion Thea Hail will put her title on the line against the former champion, Blake Monroe. This rematch comes after Hail’s unexpected victory on the December 16 episode, where Monroe failed to kick out in time.

Also featured on the card is a grudge match between former allies Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley. The two have been feuding since Dame turned on Paxley in November, costing her the NXT Women’s North American Championship. Here is the current lineup for NXT New Year’s Evil:

  • NXT Championship Match: Oba Femi (c) vs. Leon Slater
  • NXT Women’s Championship Match: Jacy Jayne (c) vs. Kendal Grey
  • NXT Women’s North American Championship Match: Thea Hail (c) vs. Blake Monroe
  • Singles Match: Izzi Dame vs. Tatum Paxley
