STARDOM Star May Be WWE-Bound

A World Wonder Ring STARDOM standout could be on her way to WWE. Xena announced at STARDOM The Conversion on Saturday that she will be leaving the Japanese promotion on July 8, wrapping up her run with a final match against HANAKO at Korakuen Hall.

Since that announcement, False Finish has reported that some within WWE and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide expect Xena to join the organization once she finishes up with STARDOM. A move to AAA would make sense given her personal ties to the promotion. Xena is in a relationship with Daga, who returned to AAA on June 20 as part of the rebooted Los Perros del Mal faction.

An Australian competitor, Xena made her debut in 2018 and primarily worked the Australian independent scene before joining STARDOM in March 2023. During her time with the promotion, she became a one-time STARDOM Artist Champion alongside Maika and Mina Shirakawa, holding the title for 127 days between March and August 2024. She also challenged unsuccessfully for the World of STARDOM and High Speed Championships.

WWE has been active in the signing market in 2026, adding names like Matt Cardona, EVIL, and Royce Keys to its roster. The company also has a well-established pipeline from STARDOM, with former stars of the promotion, including IYO SKY, Giulia, and Blake Monroe, all currently on the roster.
