There is not much to report regarding Rich Swann’s legal status after he was arrested last month on battery and kidnapping charges.
On Tuesday, The Wrap asked Triple H and Stephanie McMahon about his standing with WWE. Swann, who is currently suspended due to WWE’s zero-tolerancy policy on domestic violence issues, will be fired if he is convicted.
“We are just waiting on the legal,” Triple H said. He added, “We have a zero tolerance policy on that, as you’ve well seen. So he’s suspended until it is determined legally one way or the other.”
“And if he’s convicted, he will be released,” McMahon added. “Immediately,” Triple H chimed back in. So that is the latest update.
Swann’s wife Su Yung (real name Vannarah Riggs) will appear at this week’s Impact Wrestling tapings in Orlando, according to Squared Circle Sirens. A post on Yung’s Facebook page seemingly indicated that they got back together after Swann’s arrest. The case is in the hands of the local prosecutor in Florida. It’s not clear yet if they will look to continue the case.
