Stephanie McMahon says WWE is very hopeful Ronda Rousey will come back home

Ronda Rousey hasn’t worked a match in nearly two years, but that hasn’t stopped fans from wondering when she’ll make her next WWE appearance.

Rousey’s WWE contract is set to expire in a few months. The former Raw Women’s Champion made her in-ring debut by working a tag team match at WrestleMania 34, which just so happened to feature Stephanie McMahon, then went on hiatus after working the first-ever main event of WrestleMania featuring women in 2019.

It’s well known that Rousey decided to go on hiatus from wrestling to start a family. McMahon recently spoke with TMZ about wanting to see Rousey make a return.

“Ronda’s been very public that she’d like to start her own family. Once she does that, our doors are absolutely open, our arms are open, we are very hopeful that Ronda will come back home to WWE.”

Rousey stated last month the brutal travel schedule that all wrestlers have to do was the one thing that she didn’t enjoy and if she ever came back then she would want a reduced schedule.
