As previously noted, John Cena and Stephanie McMahon were at Canned this past week. Stephanie told AdWeek that a lot of people have pre-conceived notions about WWE and she was there to educate and spread awareness about the product. She talked about portraying a villain on TV but off TV she is the Chief Brand Officer and she works with different brands while helping get more awareness for WWE.
"It still may not be someone's cup of tea. I mean, we're not going to appeal to everybody. But it's a heck of a lot of fun. If I can get someone to come to a show, that's the best way for me to sell them on what we are because they experience it. You have the opportunity to look around. It's our company's mission to put smiles on people's faces."
