Vaquer was set to face Becky Lynch tonight, with the winner becoming the No. 1 contender to Liv Morgan’s Women’s World Championship. That match is no longer listed on WWE.com’s preview for tonight’s Raw.
WWE posted a video on Saturday of Vaquer saying she had been medically cleared, and Raw General Manager Adam Pearce made the match official shortly after.

Vaquer revealed an ankle injury on the October 12 Raw, two nights after Morgan won the title from her in a triple threat match that also included Lynch at Money in the Bank in New Orleans. Vaquer then wrestled at WWE’s live events in Honolulu on October 16 and 17. On last week’s Raw in San Diego, Lynch asked Pearce for the match, and Pearce said he would make it once Vaquer was cleared.
Dave Meltzer reported on October 16 that Vaquer was dealing with a legitimate injury but was expected back in the ring soon.
As of this writing, WWE.com lists three matches for tonight’s show:
- Non-title match: Women’s Intercontinental Champion Raquel Rodriguez vs. IYO SKY
- No Disqualification match: Bayley vs. Lyra Valkyria
- Intercontinental Champion Chad Gable and Dragon Lee vs. Ethan Page and Big Cass
Raw airs live tonight at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on Netflix from the Save Mart Center in Fresno. Our full Raw preview has more on the card.
