Stephanie Vaquer Responds To Fans Over Absence From WWE NXT No Mercy

WWE NXT presented its No Mercy PLE on Sunday night, which featured Gilua’s promotional debut. The former STARDOM/Marigold star is just one of three recent international stars to sign with WWE, including Delta and Stephanie Vaquer.

Vaquer, real name Ana Stephanie Vaquer González, left CMLL and NJPW for WWE after receiving interest from AEW. The promotion reportedly made her a notable offer to sign.

As a result, she pulled out of her scheduled dates and was stripped of the CMLL World and Tag Team Titles. CMLL and NJPW were upset with how Vaquer handled her departure. Vaquer was on WWE’s radar after she dropped the NJPW Strong Women’s Title to Mercedes Mone at Forbidden Door in June.

She worked a WWE house show loop in Mexico in July. However, Stephanie hasn’t wrestled since then. Coming out of No Mercy, fans wondered why Stephanie didn’t debut on the show. Vaquer saw the posts and took to Twitter to react to them by writing:

“Good things take time to come for those who know how to wait.”
