Stephanie Vaquer’s former boyfriend Cuatrero, whose real name is Rogelio Reyes, has been found guilty of domestic violence and attempted femicide against the WWE star.
According to a report by journalist Antonio Nieto, Reyes has been found guilty and will be officially sentenced on Tuesday, May 12.
The incident dates back to March 2023, when Vaquer filed a domestic violence criminal complaint against Reyes while both were working at CMLL. Vaquer alleged that Reyes forced himself on her, choked her, and threw her against a wall. Reyes was arrested on March 10, 2023 and charged with attempted femicide and domestic violence before being released later that month. The legal proceedings have continued in the years since, culminating in Tuesday’s guilty verdict.
The news comes as Vaquer is dealing with an njury that has sidelined her from WWE programming. She suffered a legitimate second-degree AC joint sprain in her shoulder following a backstage ambush by Raquel Rodriguez, Roxanne Perez, and Liv Morgan on the April 27 episode of Raw, where Perez rammed an equipment box into her shoulder.
The attack was used to write Vaquer off television, with Michael Cole announcing the injury on commentary. The injury forced a cancellation of a planned program against Liv Morgan. Bryan Alvarez confirmed the injury is real, and WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that she is out for the foreseeable future, with no internal timetable. There is hope for a return at SummerSlam in August, though that is not guaranteed.
