Steve Austin Explains Why He Rejected Logan Paul’s Offer To Dress Up As Prime Bottle

WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin has confirmed reports that he turned down an offer from Logan Paul to appear in a Prime Hydration bottle costume during WrestleMania 41 weekend. Austin addressed the situation on The Ariel Helwani Show after Paul had previously mentioned it on his own podcast.

While initially considering it “personal business,” Austin verified the story once it was public. “So since it’s out there, yeah, I turned it down,” Austin confirmed.

His primary reason stemmed from brand alignment and product familiarity, especially given his own venture in the beverage industry.

“I’m in the beer business. I sell Broken Skull Beer,” Austin explained. “And you know, we’re in about 25 or 30 states. I don’t know anything about his product. I don’t know about the ingredients in it, if it’s good, if it’s bad, or whatever. So, you know, it just it wasn’t my thing. So, you know, yeah, I turned it down just because I wasn’t into it.”

Austin emphasized that his refusal was not meant as a slight against Paul or his popular brand. “And that’s no disrespect to him or his product,” he added.

He ultimately felt the costume appearance simply didn’t suit his iconic persona. “No man, it just not my gimmick, you know,” Austin stated. “Like I said, he’s doing really well. Obviously he’s hustling and he’s going and getting it and more power to him. It just wasn’t a great fit for Steve Austin.”
