Steve Austin is “99% sure” that he’ll be at WrestleMania

Stone Cold Steve Austin is the guest on this week’s Ross Report podcast with Jim Ross.

Ross asked Austin if he would be in Dallas for WrestleMania. Austin said, “I’m 99% sure I’ll be in Texas for WrestleMania. In what form or capacity or whatever, I have no idea. We haven’t discussed anything creatively. One idea makes sense for me to be there but I can’t talk about now but obviously, I’d love to do this one endeavor they’re talking about. Whether we do something in the ring or if I’m part of the show remains to be seen. A big part of the WreslteMania weekend for me is going to the Hall Of Fame. By hook or by crook I see myself being there.”

Austin and Ross gave their thoughts on the WWE title picture, Roman Reigns as champion, WWE signing The Bullet Club and Shinsuke Nakamura, the neck injury that ended Austin’s wrestling career, wrestlers that Austin would have loved to wrestle when he was active, names that should be inducted into the Hall Of Fame, and more. Austin also confirmed that there were no serious plans for him to wrestle CM Punk a few years ago when they filmed a segment for the WWE 2K game.

Austin and Ross also talk about Bill Goldberg. Both men agree that Goldberg should get a final sendoff at WrestleMania. Check out the podcast by clicking on the player below:
