Recently, WWE Hall Of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin took to his podcast, “The Steve Austin Show” to answer some questions from fans. One 0f the questions Austin was asked was about who on the current WWE roster he’d like to work a final program with if he could. Austin, who remains adamant his time inside the ring is behind him, offered up two interesting names.
First, Austin named current WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar. A feud between Lesnar and Austin was teased a few years ago before Austin had “The Beast” on his podcast for the WWE Network. It would certainly be an interesting program to see play out, considering Lesnar is a big reason Austin walked out on WWE back in the early 2000s.
Also, Austin named current Monday Night Raw star Elias as another star he’d like to work with. If you’ve listened to Austin’s podcast before, you know “The Texas Rattlesnake” has sung Elias’ praises several times in the past already. Here’s what he had to say:
“I’m good friends with Brock Lesnar and it’d be fun to work with Brock ’cause I was supposed to all those years ago. I also really think Elias is doing well. I’d like to work with that guy to elevate him. I think he’s on his way to being a top guy.
“I’ve known Brock forever and we’re good friends. But Elias has been making more and more progress. The character is coming around. The guitar work is great.
“Damn good hand in the ring. Great gimmick. He’s working baby(face) now and I think that’s great.”
