Steve Austin On Potential WrestleMania 41 Appearance: “I’d Be Happy To Do It As Long As It Makes Sense”

Steve Austin has made it clear that he’s willing to appear at WWE WrestleMania 41 in 2025.

Although WWE wanted him to do a run-in during the WrestleMania 40 – night 2 main event, he declined. Austin previously stated that Mania would be in Vegas next year, so he wouldn’t have to leave his home. This led to speculation that he might wrestle at the show, which will take place on April 19 and 20, 2025, at Allegiant Stadium in Nevada.

While speaking with FOX News, Austin was asked about a WrestleMania 41 appearance. He’s open to the idea.

Austin said, “I said something about it this year just because it’s 400 miles down the road. I do spend several trips a year in Las Vegas, so, to think that WWE’s biggest signature pay-per-view event is 400 miles away, in a state that I live in, that I’m going to be there, make a couple of appearances, I’ll be promoting my beer if they, WWE, reached out and said, ‘Hey, maybe you want to do something,’ I’d be happy to do it as long as it makes sense.’”

Austin came out of retirement at WrestleMania 38 in 2022 for a match against Kevin Owens. As far as another match goes, Austins said, “But to get in there, put trunks on, and to try and be the guy that I once was … I did that, two years ago and tried to do something but I never had a ring to practice in.”

He went on to note that just like he has been told by the likes of Triple H, Hulk Hogan, and The Undertaker, nothing can prepare you for live action and taking bumps.

Austin continued, “But there’s so much going on. They got such a stacked roster with so many great superstars these days that they’re not going to have any problem filling two nights of entertainment. But if I got out there and be a part of it on one hand and do something positive that works for the company and works for what they want to do, and it satisfied a crowd, I’d be happy to.”
