It looks like Stone Cold Steve Austin’s role for next week’s Monday Night Raw has been revealed.
In a tweet during the second hour of this week’s Raw, Austin suggested that the Universal Championship contract signing between Braun Strowman and Seth Rollins should be completed next week and Austin has volunteered to moderate it.
As most of you know, next week’s Raw on 7/9 will take place at Madison Square Garden. Austin was added to the show to boost ticket sales because it’s important to WWE to sell out that venue. Dave Meltzer noted last week that it’s important to sell out because WWE wants to keep AEW out of the venue.
